Crescent House, cycle across Zambia in 4 hours!
80 amazing students challenged themselves to cycle the distance across Zambia, 1100 kilometers in just 4 hours, to raise money for Cameron’s Orphanage.
The Fifth form started on the 10 static bikes. With changeovers each hour (see video below), each of the four year groups gave their all for an hour. At the end of the four hours they had completed the 1100 km necessary to cycle the length of Zambia.
We would like to express our wholehearted thanks to all involved as the fantastic total raised (with gift aid) is in excess of £5,000!
Every penny goes directly to Zambia and this money will allow us complete a new classroom block at Itala Foundation School where there are currently up to 100 children in a class.
A special thanks to Nick Chadwell, Crescent House Master, who arranged everything and of course the pupils who put in the hard work.
A well earned Pizza after their turn
