Boundary Fence
The trustees of Cameron’s Orphanage decided that providing a boundary fence to Itala Compound was the number one priority for 2024. We have been stalling on this project due to the sheer enormity of the task – the boundary of the charity’s land is over 1 km long – that’s a LOT of fence!
It is of such importance that we decided we didn’t have time to raise the money in advance, so we had to used some of our cash reserves for this project. Therefore we are looking for donations to support this essential work and to replenish our reserves, needed to run the orphanage.
The boundary fence will enclose the whole of the Itala Compound which comprises of the Orphanage, Itala Foundation School, the mud hut village (purpose built to accommodate expedition teams) and the teachers houses.
We have employed the services of Zimbabwian Chris Cavill of Fence.Tech Innovations to build our fence as they are very professional with a wealth of experience. He employs a team of local men to carry out the work, hence we will be contributing to the local economy – always our primary consideration.
